Externship Program
The CB&CO. Externship Program is designed to help students gain hands-on experience through exposure to real-world workflows, projects, and mentorship within the entertainment industry.
Externs work alongside the CB&CO. team to gain practical experience supporting active projects and day-to-day operations. Participants build professional skills, learn industry tools and processes, and receive guidance through mentorship and feedback in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
We strongly prefer externs who are participating through a college or university program that offers academic credit for externships or experiential learning. CB&Co. is happy to coordinate with schools to meet documentation, reporting, or approval requirements when applicable.
This is an unpaid externship. Due to the high demand and competitive nature of the entertainment industry, this program is structured as a learning-based, academic experience focused on mentorship, skill development, and professional exposure rather than paid employment.
The externship is primarily remote/online. For students who live in, study in, or travel to the Nashville area, there may be opportunities for occasional in-person meetings, depending on availability and project needs.
Externships typically last approximately four (4) months and align with the summer, fall, or spring academic semesters. Schedules and weekly time expectations are coordinated individually to align with school requirements and CB&CO. project timelines.
